Beth's Easy Shepard's Pie

Ingredients

1 lbs hamburger (or chicken, canned chicken, canned roast beef, pork etc.)

1 pkg frozen mixed vegetables ( I used broccoli,carrot,water chestnut,and snap beans mix)

1 can gravy (any)

sprinkle of Mrs. Dash Garlic and herb

1-2 envelope idahoan potatoes (1 envelope for 9X9" pan 2 for 13X9")

1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded for top

Directions

Brown hamburger and onion in fry pan. Steam the veggies in the microwave as per package directions 5min.

In baking pan mix the burger and onion with the veggies and gravy.

Sprinkle with Mrs Dash or your favorite seasoning

Make Potatoes with 2 cups hot water mix to thicken.

Add to top of meat mixture like frosting.

Sprinkle top with shredded cheddar

Bake @350' for 30 min.

Serve with buttered rolls and salad.

Notes

I needed a filling easy meal while our 2017 kitchen renovation was going on and this was easy and fast and really good. Very versatile as you can use any meat substitution, any mixed frozen veggie combo, and any gravy.
